My man won two cadeau bons on his work! One bon is 100eu! We checked which restaurants take them on their website and found that Savarin is one of them, as far as we live in the Hague we just went there becasuse it was close and looked nice on the website. But we left in 30 minutes because it was a night mare.

First of all, when we entered some girl met us and on the question if we could come in she said "I need to talk to my colleague", she went for him but came back alone and said we had to wait! hmm sorry wait for what? to come in? We felt like some strangers! When the guy came he said that because it is Sunday the restaurant is opened only for the guests of the hotel but if we want we still can come in but it will be not the menu on our choice but a surprise from the chef , ok fine no problem, we understand we are not difficult people! We came inside but before we decided to ask just in case if they take the cadeau bon and they even didn't know that. Is it professional? They were really surprised and start to call somewhere to find out , we felt like beggars! After he called to his colleague , he was resent to another colleague and he had to ask one more time, we were so ashamed and confused! So in the end he they all still didn't know if they take it, it was really humiliating! In the end we had to go online on the iPhone and show them that the name of their restaurant is written on the website , then he finally believed us! I was already in such a bad mood, it is not our fault that we won those bons, isn't it?

So we went inside, and asked for a wine menu, we chose one wine we liked and were waiting for a waitress, finally she came and was acting really strange asking instead of what wine we are going to order this one? we said it was our first choice , that moment the guy came and started to take our order again, when we asked smth about the wine he couldn't even advise anything! We had to wait for 10 minutes for a wine in almost empty restaurant, but it was so visible that they didn't care because we came with the bon and not cash! they honestly ignored our table, it was so humiliating, i have never experienced this in my life before! They were nice to all people around who were the guest of the hotel but not to us. I was already looking in the eyes of the waiter, thinking maybe he will understand a hint that we are already for 15 minutes in his restaurant and just having nothing to drink at all! But no, he just didn't care and continued walking around and teaching the girl how to act and what to do! I think she was new.

When the waitress brought the first so called surprise from the chef i was shocked it was some kind of cheap thin omelette which they called pizza, with really bad cheap salty sausage inside and burnt under the bottom, i even didn't eat till the end... My boyfriend swallowed it only because he is Dutch and tried to be nice to the same Dutch people while the same people were absolutely not nice to us!

Ahw yeah one more thing, i understand it is my problem I am not Dutch... But still none of the waiters even tried to say smth in English or just even maybe propose smth in English or explain the dish! I don't believe that all their guests are Dutch, right? So in my opinion people who work in restaurants bu the hotel they have to speak the easiest and the most international language in the world called English, am i not right?

So after waiting for ages, I was so humiliated and tired to wait for at least somebody to come and serve us that i just stood up and went away! The only thing the guy said was "Hmm jammer" and just kept doing his things, he honestly didn't care why we even were leaving this amazing place!

It was really funny when we went to another restaurant in the Hague straight after and there they immediately knew what the cadeau bon was and we were perfectly served!

I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody!
