Oh dear!

I think this restaurant invented the word - "All you can eat", and even all you can drink (mainly soft drinks) !!
This is a place where you can absolutely eat it all! There is a huge selection of "international" food and different buffet corners.. I'm a sushi fan and eating sushi all evening or matter of fact all-you-can-eat-sushi should be my second job or at least a hobby 😋 Sushi is freshly made and all food are immediately re-loaded every time the buffet plates or pans are empty, and majority of all buffet corners have their built-in kitchen where the specific chef cook prepare the food... So smiling at the chef can be nice way to say you appreciate the food!

Not even mention.. the desert corner is a colorful place to stand in front which is the place you first pass by after entering the restaurant 😍 this is definitely planned and it is an evil strategy 😂
You can either chose the healthy side of the desert area with various of exotic fruit bites, OR, the calorie-rich-deadly-please-sign-me-up-for-a-gym side which presenting many different cake-bites, pies, whipped cream machine, ice creams with colorful sprinkles and a chocolate fountain that makes you want to jump in to it!

This is not just a place to go to when you want to go out for dinner with family and friends.. This is also a place that when you really don't feel for making dinner tonight.. then let's go to Jin Lai! And why? Because it is so damn affordable!

If you want MEAT?! Here you have your God damn meat! I have never ever tasted such a tasty, juicy, soft "biefstuk" (in Dutch) before in my whole life! If meat, beef, steak lovers don't know about this place.. Then shame on you!! ;)
This central place is unique and if you have luck then your table is situated next to the Amsterdam Canal and you can enjoy the amazing view in the heart of Amsterdam city.

You can order "Biefstuk" plate (Beef tenderloin steak) in 3 different ways ;
1 - original (regular) tournedos with a salty beef gravy,
2 - spicy tournedos with so called "Bali sauce"- spicy gravy (includes Sambal Oelek),
3 - tournedos prepared in red wine and comes as long as the gravy with onion, chicken liver, and bacon... Lord!! Please give my stomach some more space!!

However, I ended up licking my plate and fingers after finishing up the gravy sauce with dipping my served crispy French fries and the fluffy bread piece which is must as side order.

You either roll or crawl back home after this or wash down this delicious devilish steak experience with a dear Belgium friend a.k.a Brugse Zot (on tap) and enjoy the view, sun, your company, and life...!

If you love Seafood & Oysters.. this is the right place to catch them yourself... :)
Spui location is much bigger than the first location in Amsterdam (Van Baerlestraat 5) and it has its tendency to be very busy and crowded due to its popular seafood selection and ambience... reservation is a must here if your company is more than 2 people on a weekend! Everything is fresh and the demonstration of their seafood selection is proudly presented uniquely at the huge cold counter next to where the chef is preparing all the delicious orders... it's a huge seafood show when you enter the restaurant and makes the mouth melts for any seafood lovers entering the place!
I don't prefer to eat here at busy/crowded moments which makes the sound level higher than it should be, and the atmosphere changes slightly rather to a lunch room or all you can eat feeling for a moment. When it is busy and not enough staff evenly divided for the tables then you have to wait longer for your existing order to arrive and as well to make a new order. Sometimes you have to remind about the drink orders that take as long as preparing the meal...

Still a fave seafood place but I chose carefully which day and time to visit :)

Amazing! Amazing Castle, atmosphere, and nature! It's a fairytale kind of princess and love couple moment at this place. Food is extraordinarily and the waiter/waitress are very professional and service minded. Having the chef coming out and asking us how the meat should be prepared was a real service and royal feeling treatment. They never lose attention on you and refill what ever empty glass you have on the table, basically make you feel that the guest's need's and attention is the first priority! This was a romantic moment for me & My Boyfriend and the taste of the food and the presentation of it was a big star on top of it! Friendly staff with professional attitude and with gentle gesture when communicating. The price is higher than average.. but hey, it's a freakin castle and you are being treated as the royal guest of honor :) This is a weekend get-away-place for sure for any love couple or families that want to add some luxury experience in their daily life or just escape the city life for a moment!

The food, atmosphere was perfect and very friendly workers. Negative point is that we had empty drink glasses for a very long time and no one paid attention to that, even though the waiter/waitress passed by our table. So we repeatedly had to ask for each time when we realized no one paid attention for our drink refill. I sincerely recommend the Bavette steak or filet steak, which was amazing with its extraordinary bearnaise sauce and the forest salad as a starter, which was fresh and tasty with explosion of a tropical forest. Chocoloco as dessert was a killer and we almost crawled back home after this delicious 3 course dinner! This is my new fave place for sure!
