Calla's in Den Haag

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were a party of 3, with a 13 year old daughter. The food was not too our daughters taste, however the adults were enthralled with the tastes and choices. The waitress was very good to explain the challenges of the 7 course versus 4 course meal. We appreciated that very much, and also that we had a support for our daughter to pick from the Al A Carte menu.
The surprise cake was a wonderful addition to the evening.
Service was impeccable, not overly intrusive, but watchfully attentive. The waiting staff are well trained and certainly work hard.
We shall visit again! Price is a bit on the high side for the wine.
We also liked being welcomed to the restaurant when we arrived in our taxi.
Overall the only improvement we would suggest is a bit more art to add additional colour to the ambience.
