    I have been visited almost all the star restaurants in noord holland and some of them elsewhere. I must say the atmosphere of the restaurant is one of the best. Regarding the food, I was quite surprised that chicken, although they said farm chicken, such type of normal home cooking material was selected as the main course in a star restaurant. If the chef made exceptional taste as a surprise, I would still appreciated it. However, the chicken breast is very dry without much seasoning and served with very little source. My partner said she had to eat it up to be polite. Simply it has little taste, and it is a bit like biting wood. Besides that, the bread was also very hard. In general, I would expect a nicer restaurant would serve warm bread with crispy skin and soft inside. I normally also consider it is something fundamental as a star restaurant. However, the bread was so hard outside and even quite difficult to cut it. Inside is also not soft and not warm at all. That part was also a shock to me. Compared to other michelin star restaurants, such as lucas rive, la rive, ML, IVY or De Bokkedoorns, I must say it is not really a good choice considering the quality and price. Again, the environment is pretty, and atmosphere is gezellig.
