I must say this has been by far the most delicious Middle Eastern food I have ever tried. The hummus, falafel, salad, shakshuka and Pita bread are exquisitely delightful providing a symphony of tastes that tantalize the palate with each bite. And don’t forget the brownie. You can’t forget its taste.😍 I certainly recommend this place if you’re looking for the most delicious food at a lovely and pleasant atmosphere.
Middle Eastern food at its best. I came today for the second time, this time with an Indian friend and a Colombia friend, and they absolutely LOVED the food, and even took takeaway at the end. I highly recommend the Shakshuka and the Hummus with the slow-cooked chicken. Delicious! 😋 For vegetarians: don't miss the hummus with mushrooms and onions. The fudge and Malabi at the end are a must.
Very delicious food and nice people! A lot of vega(n) options, but also suitable voor non-vega(n)s 😉 I had the Hummus with champignons and onions and it was a good meal. The chocolate browny was good and creamy. I will come back!
Since I moved to Leiden, i'v been searching for all the new exotic food. I got here with high expectations and most of them were met. When they told me I need to check the Humus, I didn't think I would like it. I know very well what an authentic Humus taste like.. and this Hummus dish tasted JUST THE WAY GOD INTENDED. The Sinya was exceptionally tasty. The coffee was a surprising success.. even the kids thaught so.. (just joking) If you ever want to "jump" to a different time zone for a quick lunch, that's totally the place to go. The food was too tasty. Didn't take pictures.. Ben is amazing!! See you soon man!

amazing hummus, especially the hummus chicken, would definitely recommend! the shakshuka and falafel are also incredibly delicious! absolutely DO NOT skip the malabi and the vegan brownies as dessert, both taste amazing and the brownie is out of this world. already eaten here twice and 100% will come and eat again!!
We ate Hummus falafel and Hummus chicken!! It was super tasty, then we ate malabi for dessert, wow, this was super tasty!!! Just come and give your stomach a chance😋

We are both chefs with over 15 years of experience, and also husband and wife. 👩❤️👨
We have been living and working in restaurants in Leiden for several years, and we absolutely adore our city.
When the Corona crisis started, both of us lost our jobs, but we did not let it bring us down! 💪 It was what gave us the opportunity to develop our project "Hummus Ta-IM", and share our freshly made, healthy, vegan friendly food, with the people of Leiden.
